Today is my stop on the Charm Dash blog hop. The ever lovely Ms Midge took part in the Modern Medallion blog hop last year and I am very happy to be part of her first pattern release! The Charm Dash pattern is a great, no waste way to use up those special charm packs. If you want to purchase this pattern, you can do so through Etsy or Craftsy.
Pre-cuts are a great way to get the entire range of a fabric line and charm packs are no exception! At 5 inches square, these pieces are just the right size to get yourself a perfect bite size taste of a range without a huge outlay. I confess that I’m a sucker for them! I’ve gone ahead and put the Charm Dash quilt on my never ending to do list…
To make my cushion cover, I made one block of the Charm Dash block using fabrics that I bought at Quiltcon – my favourite magenta Kona, Cotton and Steel kitty tigers and this really sweet aqua text print. I love the way it looks, and it’s so perfect to brighten up my retro chair. Oh I love it so much!
I highly recommend that you check out the other gorgeous Charm Dash quilts hopping around and join up to the link at the end, there are some great prizes to whet your appetite!
